In the first, the LA County Office of Education will review current law, safety best practices, and clear response procedures for school sites — both when immigration enforcement officials arrive on campus and when they request student or family information. In the second, Oakland International High School Learning Lab will provide instruction in organizing community foot patrols that offer an additional layer of security during periods of heightened enforcement activity.
